Dear diary, today morning I made a commitment to my husband that we’ll have coffee together at 6pm. After finishing work from the office, I went with my dearest friend for shopping. It was getting late and I knew that my husband does not like to wait but I thought I would say sorry and it will be okay. I was late by 15 minutes and when I saw him, he was visibly upset. I said sorry and told him the reason. He did not say anything. I reminded him of the coffee, he reluctantly agreed and accompanied me to the coffee shop.
Once there, he seemed out of the place, upset and dejected. I asked him if he has any problem, he just said ‘nothing’, I knew it is because of me. On our way back home, I took his hand in mine and said ‘I love you’. He kept quite and did not respond.
On reaching our home I went to the bathroom and started crying. ‘This is the end of my happy life’ I thought. A bad decision to go for shopping with my friend has cost me, my happiness. I am awake writing this and he is asleep with his back to me. My life is over!
