we make new year resolutions, some make at on dec 31st and others on their birthdays.
so for the anniversary of our home land where we are not at the moment,
what will be a resolution of change and for betterment?
if Pakistanis were to have unity and feel really truly driven to do something for the country, while staying abroad even, what is that one thing that each one of us would want to do and act on it, to set a model?
please share if you would like.
i would dedicate my work experience and education to implementing a program for literacy across the board and making people self sufficient by overcoming their poverty.

The situation will keep on deteriorating with the Paki armed forces running Pakistan as their own private entity.

Perhaps if both the civilian and military forces could run it as their own private entity then we would do a lot better. Only if Pakistan were not sold to each new government whether civilian or military. Only if both could realize they work for Pakistan not against each other.
Re: A New Pakistan
thanks, Abdullah K, and USRes for your comments.
for pointing out what is wrong.
can you also suggest what can be done as a solution and how will you be able to introduce that change?
does it have to do with self accountability for both the military and the civilian sectors?
Re: A New Pakistan
Can't per stop the blame game for once, Military accuses polticians and politicians accuses military for the disaster...
Instead of accusing one or other can we once cameup with the practical solution to get out of this mess!!!
Like Dushwari pointed out, literacy is real problem in Pakistan, we need to do something about it!!!
two questions comes to mind
1) if something can be done?
2) How to do it?
What i have observed that there are number of NGOs ( for education) in Pakistan, each have its own QIBLA, most of them take other NGO as a rival, on top of that the performance of NGO is evident by the situation of Pakistan. most of them are easy money making businesses, and nothing more...
Abdul Sattar Edhi's example to followed, if one seriously want to do something about this problem, Organize and Motivate ppl to educate their neighbourhood first... and things will move on...
