This makes it easy to respond. If I recall you will soon become a medical doctor. I will assume he is your age and may have a job. If that is true - and assuming you need a year to complete degree - keep it long distance during this year. Meet each other once in 3 months at each mother’s parents home. You will know in a year if you both are a good match. Take it slow and get to know each other in this year.
That is it- simple.
(These days long distance is not same as in humare zamane mein - when you had to depend on old fashioned snail mail across the seven seas).
