I was excited to hear about this. This isn’t being done by the traditional drama makers or traditional film makers in Pakistan; but by a new age Pakistani director based out of the US. I think Fatima Jinnah is a FASCINATING subject, and nothing of this sort has been done before. Not by a long shot anyway.

oh looking forward to this. It's true a biography on Fatima jinnah should be very fascinating.
I just hope they don't botch up the facts or try to convey something too negative or controversial !

I totally Agree but it being a very dark chapter of our nation's history - I think many questions will remain unanswered ...

the political hanky panky and fixing to deny her a victory and the assault on her supporters.
I believe that was the first incidence in the nation's history where civilians were butchered as part of a political move.
since then it has become a norm, at least in karachi

A good decision. Will definitely watch it. And this is a very big undertaking for the producers. Truth be told.

I have a similar thread running on Fatima The Film.
It's not about Fatima, the historical figure actually. It's a story about a modern-day woman who is inspired by Fatima Jinnah.

or try to make her in to a religious figure. I hope we get an unbiased true image of her. Regardless of if she dated some white guy in the 1920s. People were "Seetha Savatri" back in British India. I wonder where we get the term, "Phlay kay zamanay achey thay" Yeah when we were imperial slaves!
