‘MMA’s million march flop proves
people satisfied with govt’s policies’

BY flopping MMA’s million march, people have proved that they are fully satisfied with the present government’s policies.
This was claimed by Punjab Agriculture Minister Arshad Khan Lodhi, Finance Minister Husnain Bahadar Dreshak, Irrigaiton Minister, Aamer Sultan Cheema, Food Minister Ch Iqbal and Political Secretary to Punjab Chief Minister Ch Sikandar Elahi Cheema in a statement issued Wednesday. They said people would not become part of any such march aimed at personal interests of the Opposition. They said the MMA should refrain from any such movement which had no concern with the people’s problems. They said the Opposition was trying to hoodwink the people by hollow slogans, but the masses were aware of these tactics and would foul every such movement.
They lauded the government’s measures for the restoration of the religion column in the passport and said that leaguers were united under the dynamic leadership of Ch Shujaat Hussain. They said people were satisfied with the public welfare policies of Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz and Punjab Chief Minister Ch Pervaiz Elahi. They said Pakistan was being strengthened economically and this was an ample proof of the failure of the opposition.
