i came across the scorecard of this Test Match and saw in 2nd innings

ST Jayasuriya c †Rashid Latif b Wasim Akram 1 10 1 0 0 100.00

Jayasuriya has a score of 1 from 1 Ball with a SR of 100% and he isn’t Run-Out … so the scorer missed to note the 2nd ball Jayasuriya faced to get OUT or what ?

But i thought the batsmen facing a ball will be counted regardless of it being a No or Wideball !!!???

No ball does count towards batsman if its no ball. ( I think its over step no ball only). Wides don count towards batsman.

Well i wish i had "Itni Fursat" ..... it was rather the occasion that during the current ENG vs. SL series Alistair Cook managed to score 90+ in 1st and 100+ 2nd Innings that cricinfo showed who else got that in a test match ...... Saeed Anwar did that in a Test against SL and while me going through the score card this anomaly came up ..... rather a work a few clicks in 2-3 min than "lambi fursat" :D

I remember this dismissal. This catch by Rashid was one of the most unbelievable ones. He took it in front of SECOND slip we both hands full stretched. Wish I could find the video of it it was a freak catch. And what an amazing keeper Rashid was.
