no matter how much we hate america calling it evil satan and what not
and i must add that iam not not pro america esp its foreign policy
but i would like you to ponder over certain things
how would indians and pakistanis esp the govt would have reacted to a film like fahrenheight 9/11 on either vajpayee or musharraff? esp when they are in power?
i remember some years ago a journalist called najam sethi was hounded by nawaz shariif
so was mr alex perry of times magazine when he wrote a article on vajpayee
how the indian govt reacted to film final solutions?
isnt it worth thinking?
They would ban the film for "security" reasons, just as the film about the Gujrat riots was banned.

Indeed a valid point...i always support the idea of improving ourselves rather than criticizing USA for every thing. YES USA IS BAD AND EVIL AND WHATNOT but blaming USA around the clock will not solve any of our multi-dimensional problems.
In respond to Moore’s movie being made in Pakistan or India, huh, there is no need of any comment… we all know what would be the possible outcome. We, Pakistan in particular and India in general, need a remarkable improvement when it comes to political-tolerance as well as development of political institutions. A LONG WAY TO GO………

Please expand on this most interesting quote. On what basis is the USA "EVIL"?

The statement was made sarcastically in reference to humongous criticism USA has to face these days from rest of the world.
I have not seen this film only have read about it so cannot really offer accurate commentary on it.
However all societies tolerate media to an extent even in places like pakistan or former soviet republics much less than the US. There are many other things the US covers up for example when GI Joes get shot up in Iraq they cover it up, even in Iraq invasion and Afghan invasion they do not show the true realities of war they show as if it is computer game.
The US may have a big movie industry which permits people like michael moore, but it does'nt hide the fact that Amerikkka is still a colonial state that bombs and invades countries for its personal benefit.
I dont know how many of u know about the Tehalaka ..... That time BJP was in government.
