I have recieved this mail by a friend, and after reading it I was really concerend, I thought everyone should read it and you can tell what do you think.

And where in the hadith does it say that you MUST fast every Monday??? Please do give us some reference!!!!

This chain letter you have gotten is a hoax. It has been in circulation for many years, by paper before the time of e-mail. The message this e-mail is sending out is a good one, in the sense that is trying to encourage people to come back to Islam. But, by throwing in these very "chain mail" qualities to it, the author discredits himself and cheapens his message.
We should practice Islam because we want to please Allah (SWT) and for no other reason.

I had said what do you think about these type of letters…
Jawaan, please remember, I did not write this, I got it as a chain letter…
We get these type of thigs in Pakistan too… I had paged this letter for discussion, I also do not belief that the letter is authentic, but the contents (some of it) should be thought off…
I myself, when read the last part of people who do not believe… or sending part…
That was the thing that clicked that its not real, You know what I mean…
I just wanted to consider these points…

Ok ok ok yaseeen bahi but that, thing in there about MUST fasting on mondays is it ture? Is it in Hadith that we MUST fast on mondays????? if its not these kinds of things should not be in circulation at all!!!

Agree that the letter is a hoax.
Check Muzamil Siddique's religion section in pakistan link..he explains the inappropriateness of chain letters and that this one has been around for 40+ years.

LOL, the Prophet wants to start a chain letter? The Prophet wants to use technology. Cool Prophet. Next thing we will see is an infomercial in the wee hours of the morning, with Sheikh whatshizname trying to hawk Tazbees for $9.99, and not just that, he will throw in a Jaanamaaz and a topi for no extra cost to you!!! Why you ask? "Becauuuuse, I'mmmma crrraaazzeeee sheikh" Call now, operators are standing by in Saudi Arabia.

I have been reading this letter since I was kid in late sixtys. Perhaps printing of this letter is more than five decades old. I do not know what purpose did/does it serve.

About Fasting on Mondays....
Prophet fasted on Alternate days of the week.....(Sahi Bukhari: Volume 6, Book 61, Number 572)
He has also said that one should fast on the fifteen of every month, but there is no restriction... All these fasts are not Fardh but Nafils... So Fasting on Monday is also not Fardh, but Nafils...
About I wanted to put your attention on the fact that in Turky,

This was a disaster that was from Allah.. Why because people were not practising the ways of Allah, the ways that were taught by the Prophet.(SWT).
No matter that this letter was hoax, but some of the contents which I had pointed from the letter are worth considering. One could see for themselves, that these are facts, and indeed happeining with us. We also that these are one of the signs for the Day of Qiyamah.
We could not just ignore the letter because its fake or its old. One cannot also deny the purpose of the letter to, that is for the muslims to behave....
