Do every good thing for the love of Allah and not for the love of your spouse. Leave every bad thing again for the love of Allah and not for the love of your spouse.
By this way, you would insha'Allah never repent your kindness, sacrifices, taking pain for your spouse and all good acts, also you would always like to give good without expecting anything in return.
