On what basis are you making that statement in bold? Are there any statistics that has shown that polygamy is on the rise? Is this in a particular country or all over the world?

I have read many horror stories of women being forced to accept their husbands second marriages which are increasing at an alarming rate,** especially in the UK and USA, where the are currently 20 000 and 50 000 men respectively engaging in it**, many of them against the first wife’s will.

Any links to the statement in bold? Also, the 20,000-50,000 men, are these Muslim men or men of all religions?
