Wasting your time on useless, unavailing, and time consuming posts; boy, oh boy,(girl, oh girl) do i have got something on which you can work and think hard and do some brain-storming exercise.

I wanted to talk to you about something, and get some input and ideas about this matter. Please give word of advice, warnings and other recommendation that you may have on this particular matter. I hope you guys and gals respond to this in great numbers and help us help other better, and in more efficient ways.

My friends and I are thinking of making a group, a communal sort of speak. We are about 6 people some in USA and some back home in Pakistan. (we hope more will join, yes we will have a website where people can join.) Off course more will be added once this group is officially created, but we are still looking for ideas to make it happen and really do something for people in pakistan (such as social problems, it may not be on the high level where we will be helping all over pakistan, but starting point will be our native cities and towns and than move up slowly as we progress insha-Allah.) and ‘other’ matters troubling Pakistani people. No it will not be likeEidi organization(foundation) or some other charity establishment. The helping and facilitation and financial job will come from the members of the group, from money raised in the group by its members.

Please don’t take this as another post which will be pushed right down the list after few weeks; I am as dead serious as you reading this.
Please give your best insight and advice on this topic, any good ideas will be really appreciated. Any kind of idea/approximation/advice/thought is welcomed and will be taken in account and in consideration.

it is a good idea, but if ur attention is good. i just say u needs to do lots of hard work. it is not a easy task to get ppl togather at one platform for struggling good.

There is a gentleman in islamabad who is already ding something of the sort. It may be better for you guys to join forces with him rather than start a new thing. I have been in touch with this guy for some time and can connect you all. afterall why stasrt reinventing the wheel if someone with similar motives has already started carving it.

what are your group's overall aspirations, goals and agenda..how do you plan to officially organize yourself and where do you see yourself going in the next 5 years or so. These are questions that you should ask yourself and those around you.

I dont doubt your sincerity but often if the end goal or the shape of things to come in near future is not defined people lose interest or the goals get puched back in terms of their priority.

Fraudiya paai jaan…YEs it will be great, to get together with that other guy you mentioned. It will be nice to hear what are his plans and what kind of helping is he ready to do. It will be great to team up, on similar issues that we might have.

basically it will be a group dealing with first the local corruption lets say in our cities and towns, where WE members of the group are from. Than help educate childern on differnt topics.(maybe you guys can give ideas and shed light on that) and if allah wills move up to political level someday and do some construction there.(NOT TO BE COME A POLITICAL PARTY, NO NEVER) Other needy help will be given to the people…maybe you can add more and give more ideas.

I think Fraudia gave you pretty good and practical suggestions. It's always easier to conceive an idea, but to act on it is a lot more tough.

I think if you join forces with other, similiar smaller group(s) then not only you will be able to provide them more strength, you will also be able to strenghten yourself by the same token. This can prove very advantageous since you will get more rewarding result in the very beginning which in turn will encourage you more.

Secondly, you can also benefit from other group's experiences in overcoming the initial hardships etc and use your energies more productively.

Like Fraudia said, a vision is very much important. Just the inspiration and ambitions are not good enough unless you have pinpointed your vision and mission in terms of what exactly you want to accompolish or where exactly you are going with this effort. Clearer the vision, stronger the enthusiasm you'll find in yourselves to actually do something practically.

In any cause like this, actions always count a lot more than words. And a deed is good only as it is judged by the results it brings up. So manage and focus your energies to apply on the actions.
