I didn't say they appear in the Quran I wanted to know if they did.
Thanks for your help, I haven't read them anywhere, had a dream where they were being spoken to me by someone in the dream, maybe I only caught half the sentence.
“yuhyi wa yumeetoo” - i don’t know whether it comes in the Quran, but it is part of the fourth kalma, kalma Tawheed (Oneness).
The kalma in its entirety goes like this:
La-ilaha ill-lallahu wah-dahu la sharika lahu; lahul mulku wa lahul hamdu yuhyi wa yumeetu wa huwa hayyul la yamutoo abadan abada. Zul jalali wal ikrami biyadihil khair wa huwa ala kulli shayyin qadeer.
English translation: There is none worthy of worship except Allah, Who is alone and Who has no partner. To Him belongs the Kingdom and for Him is all Praise. He gives Life and causes Death. In His hands is all good and He has Power over everything.
“yuhyi wa yumeetu” means “He gives life and causes death”.
You asked for the significance of this phrase; according to the Hadith of al-Tirmidhi, he who recites this before entering a market, “Allah will write for him a million good deeds, erase a million of his bad deeds and raise him a million levels.” http://sisters.islamway.com/article.php?sid=131
This phrase might occur in the Quran and other Hadiths, but i am not certain. All i know for sure is that it’s part of the fourth Kalma; in a way, when one recites this with total belief, he/she is acknowledging that Allah has power over everything (Allah controls life and death), and you are surrendering yourself to Allah’s Will.

These words do appear in the Qur'an, such as:
"Ibrahim said: My Lord is He Who gives life and causes death (yuhyi wa yumeet)." (2:258)
"It is Allah that gives life and causes death (yuhyi wa yumeet)." (3:156)
Also 7:158, 9:116, 10:56, 23:80, 44:8.
The initial question was about the words 'Yuh’yee wah yo’momenoon'.
All praise be to Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’aala), the Creator of all worlds, the Lord of the Judgement Day, Who provides sustenance in this worldly life to both believers and unbelievers, but in the Hereafter only to the believers.
