My sis in law was also talking about A line shirts. I know what styles are in but i cant specify them with their names. Could anyone plz post pic of whats Umbrella cut is like and what A line is like.

A line is the one that doesnt have slit in the sides. i got one recently and its so :jano:

A-lines r more stiff cuz they give that "A" cut look...i find that better with skirts than with lawn or cotton kameez.

As far as i know, A line is better suited to a stiff kapra, as it holds its shape, wheras umbrella is suited to a non-stiff fabric, for that “swishy” style and effect…i may be talking total crap, but that’s what i think.

A-cuts have slits (when talking about A-cut kameez). Umbrella, no slits.

So A-Line has a slit but not on the sides .. I assume in the center of the shirt?

hmm…from this i see a-cuts have no slits either..but agar slits ho bhi you can still get that “A” cut. otherwise this style looks more like an anarkali.

This is an A-line. I think the major difference happens to be the over all flow.
