i didnt get the joke :confused:

^ the joke is an example of the "allusion humor". You see susan wrote a letter home in which she excessivly tried using "s" and replaced the "s"es with the dollar sign * $ * . So she in effect was asking her mom for money indirectly.

However, since the mom was clever enough to pick up on that she reciprocated by using a similar method of saying "no honey, i do not wish to give you money" and she proceeded by using phrases with the word * "No" * forexample "k*no*wledge".
