A lesson from Surah Yasin.

On gupshup we have many discussions on various topics. Why not devote a little bit atleast, time for the real purpose, and the real discussion.

In this thread, we’re just discussing and ayah from the Quran. Not debating, or preaching.
I hope this is not moved to religion, rather, open to an audience that will not degrade our deen. inshallah.

As we all know surah yasin is labeled as the “heart of the Quran”.

in this month, its good if we all became aware of little things that go unnoticed, and to apply them, or try our best to, in our lives.

Surah Yasin, is something one can recite after fajr prayer. and Allah swt promises that person that anything need done that day, Allah will fulfill it for that person. But you must do it with a sincere honest heart.

One ayah , is really frieghtning in this surah. It can really shake you down to ur soul.

I want you all to imagine this. Close your eyes if you must ( do so after reading this..)

Its the final day, the day of judgement. Qiyamat has come, the mountains have been ripped apart like silky cloth. The sky has blown into millions of bits, the storms and earthquakes have destroyed everything, including the earth itself.

You have been awakened by Allah on the sands of arafat, you are standing amongst billions of makhlooks. in front of your God for judgement.

Everyone is in a state of panic.

“omg..this is exactly what the Prophets warned us about. WHY DID I NOT LISTEN!”

"Am i going to heaven or hell, "
oh Lord I’m sorry for zina,
im sorry for riba,
im sorry for bidaah,
im sorry for everything,
my Rabb, mere Khudaa,
im sorry for backbiting,
im sorry for disobeying my parents,
im sorry for escaping prayer,
im sorry for degrading my deen,
im sorry for not following my prophet pbuh
im sorry for not learning from your signs,
im sorry for doing evil with my eyes, ears, nose, mouth, heart.
im sorry for indulging myself in the duniya.
im sorry for everything my lord forgive me.

now in this state of confusion and panic, and extreme sadness…the Ayah in this surah goes something like this…

"وَامْتَازُوا الْيَوْمَ أَيُّهَا الْمُجْرِمُونَ
Wam ta-zul Yaoma, Ayuhal Mujrimoon.
"And O ye in sin! Get ye apart this Day!

basically what this ayah is saying is. Allah will tell the criminals of islam, those who did not follow the path Allah laid down through his nabi, will be told to move aside.

Can you imagine yourself being in the group? Everyone lives happy and dandy lives in this world, no one cares for another. No one knows another, but on the day of judgement…
criminals will be told to move aside. ** and if we are in that group, let us all know, starting with myself, there will be no turning back, no one can save us then..no one.**

Allah swt further goes on to say:

  1. "Did I not enjoin on you, O ye Children of Adam, that ye should not worship Satan; for that he was to you an enemy avowed?-

  2. "And that ye should worship Me, (for that) this was the Straight Way?

  3. "But he did lead astray a great multitude of you. Did ye not, then, understand?

63.** "This is the Hell of which ye were (repeatedly) warned! **

I hope this is something we can reflect upon. Everyday, try to think about those people, including us, who can be in that group, that ALLAH swt HIMSELF will tell to move aside (u criminals). I would not want to be in that group. I would not want to be moving in the piles of criminals in front of all the makhlook. and I definitely do not want Allah swt to tell me to move into that pile.

Inshallah, lets all try to change ourself for the life that is infinite, and not the one in this world, which we have no guarantee of our expiry date.

May Allah swt, guide us all on the righteous path, and keep us away from evil. Ameen.

I ask all of you..Do you and I really want to be in that pile? :frowning: can u imagine…!
