Would Musharraf be able to survive the very septic conditions especially without the “skin”. Share your take on this.

Well, he has taken power from his old-skin and transferred them to new skin. So as long as he keeps army/COAS happy he will survive (atleast from Pakistan point of view). But if opposition can truly challenge him (highly unlikely) in courts afterwards then he will be in trouble again and it won't be possible for him to backtrack, the only choice he would have is to dissolve assemblies.

Indeed, he is carrying a sword in the shape of 58(2)B. I suspect , once out of skin, he will fall pray to the politics of power.

Musharraf is a genius. He will show world how to rule a country as a civilian by keeping the government in one piece. I like him very good man.

I bet you, the king will not be able use his sword. A martial law or full democracy will be the outcome. His dirty game with other pigs like NS, BB and MMA confirms that he is the biggest pig of all.

Thats nonsense. Musharraf has been very shrewd when dealing with the powers that matter. The MEDIA needlessly publicised the Lal Masjid crisis so he had pretty much no option but the controversial show of force which subsequently happened. I still think he' a million times better than your corrupt BBs and idiotic Gunjoos, he needs to bundle them back where they came from! Having said that, the judiciary episode was a disaster...which he just walked himself into.

Allah knows how many are suffering at the hands of american forces in guantanamo, thats all nonsense? top tier of judges behind bars thats nonsense? media all shut down thats nonsense ? yo man what are you talking about ? use ur flipin brain i mean how far can you go to support someone who is as brutal as musharaf has been... for what ? oh yeah billion of dollars of american aid ?

^^ Its highly ignorant of you banter about the thousands of murdered "people", if those people were operating against Pakistan. He handled t he Baluch operation, the whole Qadeer Khan episode expertly. He was also doing very well vis a vis the tribal areas problem, building peace treaties with the tribals, except anarchist press like Dawn coupled with the foreign media kept bantering about how that was a disaster. Post lal masjid, he pretty much had no option but to launch an operation. His only flaw has been at handling the judiciary crisis and the subsequent political fallout, I would give him ATLEAST a B minus on most other counts, specially the economy.

BB and NS did zilch for the nation. Atleast this, guy with all his flaws, did do something positive.
