I would not make the cut, but I cant imagine what they are looking for in a person.
An independent producer is looking for an interesting person (no age or sex limits), or people, willing to be a possible main subject (focus) of an independent feature DOCUMENTARY.
You should have a highly interesting life, or life story, whether your present, or your past background is unusal, weird, sad, sexy etc… You should also be very professional about this, and be willing to invest significant amount of time in order to be video recorded over the period of next few months (or most likely significantly less).
In addition to that, you need to have an “interesting, and ORIGINAL character”, as you have to be charismatic enough to hold the eventual “audience interest”, and have enough “cinematic presence” to do so.
If accepted and we decide to shoot this with you, you will be financially compensated on per-shoot-day basis.
