Is it at all possible to know the Gender of a member either from their Nick/Title or Profile, coz believe you me I have screwed up Umpteen number of times, have called a Bhai a Baji and a Baji a Bhai.
I know you will ask me what if people lie about their gender, well my answer is that they decide what they want to be called.
Its a really serious and prominent problem, I am already tired of apologising to Bhais for being Baajis and to Baajis for being Bhais.
Please Do look into this matter, as it would solve a lot of friction.

Maybe a small M or F next to the nick would suffice.
Also a U for all those who are undecided on their gender.
