40000 i dont think so......
Actually solar energy is costliest of green energies thats why least development in that area...
main expenses are setting up of solar panels...Indian government had subsiddized solar energy...and govt had to pay 15rs per unit while one unit produced by thermal power plant costed 3 rs.....
If one can use solar power as main power source home in 40000PKR then its great

I read related post. It explained that one fan and two lights will cost Rs 40,000/- and that in my opinion is very high.
