A hard question - rep points for correct answer

Assalamu’alaikum all

For a light hearted thread … The first correct answer to this question I will give rep points to as a prize.

Clue: All answers should be in whole numbers.

Use the following ayahs as a guide:

004.011 God (thus) directs you as regards your children’s (inheritance): to the male, a portion equal to that of two females: if only daughters, two or more, their share is two-thirds of the inheritance; if only one, her share is a half. For parents, a sixth share of the inheritance to each, if the deceased left children; if no children, and the parents are the (only) heirs, the mother has a third; if the deceased left brothers (or sisters) the mother has a sixth. (The distribution in all cases is) after the payment of legacies and debts. Ye know not whether your parents or your children are nearest to you in benefit. These are settled portions ordained by God; and God is All-Knowing, All-Wise.

004.012 In what your wives leave, your share is a half, if they leave no child; but if they leave a child, ye get a fourth; after payment of legacies and debts. In what ye leave, their share is a fourth, if ye leave no child; but if ye leave a child, they get an eighth; after payment of legacies and debts. If the man or woman whose inheritance is in question, has left neither ascendants nor descendants, but has left a brother or a sister, each one of the two gets a sixth; but if more than two, they share in a third; after payment of legacies and debts; so that no loss is caused (to anyone). Thus is it ordained by God; and God is All-Knowing, Most Forbearing.

004.176 They ask thee for a legal decision. Say: God directs (thus) about those who leave no descendants or ascendants as heirs. If it is a man that dies, leaving a sister but no child, she shall have half the inheritance: If (such a deceased was) a woman, who left no child, Her brother takes her inheritance: If there are two sisters, they shall have two-thirds of the inheritance (between them): if there are brothers and sisters, (they share), the male having twice the share of the female. Thus doth God make clear to you (His law), lest ye err. And God hath knowledge of all things.

Scenario

Amina has two daughters and one son. Aisha, Rafiq and Zahra. The eldest Aisha gets married to Imran and they have a son Zubair,
and then have a daughter Nadia. When those kids become adults Aisha dies leaving behind a legacy of £9000. By then Zubair is already
married with Afsheen and the couple have had two sons and one sister. Saleem, Farooq and Maria. Saleem gets married to Zara, then Zubair
dies leaving behind an asset of £8500 plus the inheritance he gained from his late mother Aisha. Saleem is still young and has no children
he was still trying to pay off his debt of £1600 before he got his share of inheritance when his father Zubair died. He didn’t
have time to close his debts before Saleem himself died from an accident.

Question
Calculate what each person in the family inherits at each passing of family member. Rank the inheritors with the person who gets the most
to the one who gets the least. Some people may be in joint positions.

Re: A hard question - rep points for correct answer

i will assume that people whose death you have not mentioned are still alive

when aisha dies:
zubair gets 3500
imran gets 2250
nadia gets 1750
amina gets 1500

when zubair dies, he leaves behind a total of 12000 (8500+3500):
saleem gets 3400
farooq gets 3400
imran gets 2000
maria gets 1700
afsheen gets 1500

when saleem dies, he has 3400 and a debt of 1600, which has to be paid off first, so he effectively leaves back 1800....
imran gets 750
afsheen gets 600
zara gets 450

i hope i am right....

Re: A hard question - rep points for correct answer

P.S. armughal

My missus (Hareem01) predicted that you will be the most likely person to take a bash at the question ... Hopefully whilst doing the question you've seen how rich the Qur'an is that in just 3 verses it can cover every inheritance scenario?

Re: A hard question - rep points for correct answer

most of inheritance rules are in Surah Nisa.
of course, Quran can sum up beautifully vast scope and breadth of any topic related to human life.
