Asalam alaykom brothers and sisters,
One night I was studying for my exams and had all my text books
scattered on the table. The Holy Quran was also on the table placed
in front of me. Someone in my family came in the house and my cat
snuck in. My cat then jumped onto the table while I was studying, in
order to get my attention. However I was too busy concentrating on
my studies to give it any attention. I then remembered that the Holy
Quran was on the table and didn’t want my cat to step on it. As I was
about to move the Quran I noticed that my cat was trying further to
get my attention, it wanted to get right in front of me. This is the
amazing part, when I was about to move the Quran I discovered that my
cat was stepping on all my school text books so it could get right in
front of my face. However for my cat to get completely in front of
my face it also needed to step on the Quran. So as I was about to
grab the Quran I discovered that my cat was looking around to see
other ways of getting in front of me without stepping on the Quran,
it reached out its paws at the window sill however it was too thin
for my cat to jump on it. My cat then put one paw in front of the
other and slowly took about 3 steps and somehow subhanallah, dodged
the Quran without stepping on it to get right in front of my face. I
then wanted to see what would happen if I replaced the Holy Quran
with my Business Studies text book. I placed my cat at position of
the table it was at first to see whether it would do the same, except
this time my cat stepped on my text book to get to me, not making the
effort to dodge my Business Studies text book. Subhanallah, at first
my cat knew that the object in front of me was the Holy Quran and
that it is filled with words of Allah and had also feered Allah, so
that is why it didn’t step on the Holy Quran. Then when I replaced
the Quran with my Business Studies text book it stepped on it because
it knew it wasn’t filled with the words of Allah.
I already believed in Allah, however when this happened right
in front of my own eyes I was even a stronger believer and told my
story to my non muslim friends.
