Pak Fauj is not God, Pak Fauj is not Angel! Its an Institution that needs accountability. Accountability needs Truth. Yes my brother is currently serving, my father is retired and my Grand father(s) both paternal and maternal were officers in Pak Army. But Does that MEAN I dont Speak Truth ? I grew up in Pakistan idolizing Army, No One every taught me or any one the truth of 65, WHY? Chawinda war history is detailed but Not Battle of Usal Uttar? Bengalies left Pakistan because of hindu professor but No truth about Operation Search Light. False heroics of Siachen but no truth about how Siachen was lost when a Drunk general gave the order of Suits to same company that deals with India exposing strategy.

Look, believe it or not, I have no damn chip but If we dont speak Truth who will? and if there is no truth how the accountability will happen? Are you ok with Army running over governments and not let process complete, not let people grow politically? Are you ok with an Army that is either harboring or dont know about the words Most wanted living in 5 minutes from Kakul, An army that got Zaleel in middle of night by just two helicoptesrs of Americans? These are the reason Salala happened because Americans came to conclusion that Pak Army is not what they say.

We as a nation can choose to sing praises of Army or we can choose to be honest so in the process a more honest Army emerges that protects us and not enslave us. Choice is yours. I have my conscience clear. I am more heart broken than any one when I speak up against Army but I am not Speaking against Army, I am speaking against an Elitist mindset. I believe in supremecy of Civilian rule, I believe in system and I absolutely believe in accountability. The most power institution is Army, so care to explain why no court martial on 93K surrender, Why no one question their Imaan ? Look at Battle of Iwo Jima or D Day landing and how Americans / Japanese / Germans fought and died. Had those 93K died instead of surrendering mindset would be different. Why no Court martial after Abbottabad raid, how come ISI general went on like a Dog barking on Politicians when under that Dog’s watch Abbottabad happened.

Asking tough questions and being truth full is having Chip on shoulder than so be it … Life is too short to not ask tough questions.

You say your grandfather, father and brother served in Army and this is the venom you spit against the Army? If this is the kind of attitude you have towards the Army, I shudder to think what kind of members of Pak Fauj they would have been to give you that ‘inside’ view. No respectable military family abuses the Army the way you do - and I know exactly what I am talking about here. Either you have a very personal chip on the shoulder or it is just very convenient to pull an innocent little lie in order to get the ‘licence’ to abuse the Fauj.

By the way, somewhere in this world Kiyani brothers must be abusing the Fauj non stop coz their sheet just got exposed and their brother was the COAS. So yes, you get all sorts.
