A good can opener

I need a good can opener. The electric one I had was quite rubbish and broke down in a year. Then I decided to buy a heavy duty manual one which makes my wrists do a twist when I’m using it

Suggest a smooth one that actually does it’s job right.

Guide me too please as I bought manual and it still doesn’t work for me too :argh:

Re: A good can opener

the one i picked up last is from ikea and works like a charm. no struggles necessary!

Re: A good can opener

i have one by FARBERWARE that i got at walmart for around $4 or $5 its pretty good! its manual but its smooth and lubricant enough NOT to cause my wrist to go crazy. hope this helps.

p.s. i hate those electronic ones. they take up too much space!!

Re: A good can opener

I have a kitchen aid one....never gave me any problems...
I think I git it from BJ's a few years ago....:)

Re: A good can opener

I've used many, electric ones, manual ones, wall mounted ones, table-top ones...Currently I have a Rosle can opener with pliers grip... it's designed by Germans, looks very sleek, is ergonomically shaped and tested by professional chefs. Ticks all the boxes for me... i've had it for years and it still works perfectly.
