gher k mitney ka ghum to hota hai
apney melbey pay kon sota hai

merey dil aansooun say haath utha
keci baarish say zakham dhota hai

shaam hotey hi meri palkoin per
kon ye haar sa parota hai

raat k be-karaa’n andherey may
koe jognu ki neend sota hai

mohabat aesa derya hai
k baarish rooth bhi ja a
to pani kum nahi hota!
