A funky math trick

Here is a lil math trick to impress the chicas at the desi weddings.

 1. GRAB A CALCULATOR. (YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO DO THIS ONE IN YOUR HEAD)

 2. KEY IN THE FIRST THREE DIGITS OF YOUR PHONE NUMBER (NOT THE AREA CODE)

 3. MULTIPLY BY 80

 4. ADD 1

 5. MULTIPLY BY 250

 6. ADD THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR PHONE NUMBER

 7. ADD THE LAST 4 DIGITS OF YOUR PHONE NUMBER AGAIN.

 8. SUBTRACT 250

 9. DIVIDE NUMBER BY 2

DO YOU RECOGNIZE THE ANSWER?

All the girls that tried this, please reply to the thread with the final answer you get on your calculator. Thanks

Re: A funky math trick

Heh...reminds me of an old joke from that cartoon "Reboot".

The number one and two walk into a bar. They both look around and notice all the other numbers are on the opposite side of the room from number seven, scared out of their wits.

One turns to two, and asks "why's everyone so afraid of seven?"

Two, himself now scared, replies "because 7,8,9!".

Well, I thought it was cute :-)

Re: A funky math trick

I’ll keep this trick in mind to impress em chicas & boy this is going to be fun…:dhimpak:

It works for the numbers here in Dubai…rock on

Re: A funky math trick

^Finally some thing to add some spice to the guppy meets.

Re: A funky math trick

Doesn't work if the last 4 digits of your number start with a zero.

Re: A funky math trick

lol, it be funny if some1 from pakistan or bangladesh tries it, i mean seriously, the area codes get me confused with the bangladesh numbers lol

Re: A funky math trick

The funky math trick is just multiplying the first three most significant digits with 10000 and adding the last four least significant digits to it. Nothing funky about it!!

So if a phone number is 123 4567, multiplies 123 X 10000 and adds 4567 and you will get the same number.

Re: A funky math trick

well it works for any phone numbers of 7 digits ;)

Re: A funky math trick
