Where is the problem here.
In Christianity, the Prophets went to War.
In Judaism, the Prophets went to War.
Even in Hinduism, the gods went to War.
So even if Mohammed PBUH went to War. So what! Or do you think that Prophets from the other Faiths had a right to go to War, but not Mohammed PBUH, especially when it was self defence and he was seriously outnumbered and endangered.
Look around you. Lesser people are going to War, but you still advocate their actions.

I don't think ANY prophet from the God will have any need to shed blood to prompte the God's message. I think a true God would find a peaceful way to do so. Don't you?
Rivers of blood have flown in the name of God. Blood continues to flow in the name of some God or some religion. In case if Islam, its origins and its history is dripping with human blood.
