A friend..

Re: A friend..

I have seen many wed women in and around my family who live like that, nothing surprising with your friend’s situation.

Re: A friend..

then i can BET it's NOT true as she claims...period!

Re: A friend..

how?

Re: A friend..

simply because it can't be true...u can't be pampered all the time if u r NOT doing your share...honeymoon lasts a week at max. i've seen or heard any example like that ever. it's just NOT so in desi culture...the way it has been explained by the OP :)

Re: A friend..

kkf inbetween the extremes lie some moderate and actually reasonable people too. Problems occur when one party (between the SIL and INLAWS) is nice and exploited or if both the parties believe in exploitation and manipulation. In the same way there must exist people who are equally nice to each other and therefore their life is peaceful. And it doesnt take much to create such an atmosphere. A little patience and flexibility (ON BOTH THE SIDES) is all that is needed.

So OP, I dont see any reason you not believing your friend. Even if she doesnt sound convincing, respect her privacy and be as positive as she sounds to you :k:
