he bought a laptop from
Welcome To Our Website
and paid $600
they kept in contact with him until he sended the money no reply no nothing after that
now my question is what actions can he take? he was asking my advice so i posted here
also can we complain to the webhosts that this website is a scam and should be taken down ASAP
if yes then how do i find out the host and contact them
any help would be appreciated

Check out their website and you can tell they are not legit. Their work hours are 8PM to 6AM and they use hotmail/gmail accounts. Google their name and you'll find a lot of people complaining about the same thing.

only idiot can order from this site, sorry but i have to say this :)
for recovering money .. how did you send it .. by credit card, paypal/western union ..
their is 99.99% chance you can't recover it

i never purchased as i said in the thread a friend of mine did
I told him not to buy from there and buy from some authentic website such as amazon, ebay , newegg.com
but he didnt listen
he payed with western union i think
i told him that if an offer looks too good to be true it really is
ne never listened to me, well, his loss
yeah but atleast he can complain to the webhosts

Yeh sure complain.. but it will not work :)
their hosting provider is in Beijing, China.. so forget it .. its a very common scam.

Excuse me, but your friend is really stupid if he/she fell for that. If an online-store or person asks for payment through Western Union you can almost guarantee that it is a scam. That's because it's the most anonymous transaction possible.
If you ask them whether you can pay with credit card, account-to-account transfer, Paypal or anything of that sort, they will give you hundreds of excuses as to why that is not possible. The real reason is: They would be trackable.

well i've warned him already that dont use such sites
and use only authentic and popular websites
there are loads of computer related nice websites such as
newegg, tigerdirect, amazon etc

What's done is done. But just FYI, usually a quick google search can provide a lot of information about a vendor and/or scams.
So be very careful. :)
