Okay so can someone PLEASE help me here… I need to know if there is any sort of HUNGAMA(firing, shooting, maar dhaaar) type of stuff in Karachi on New Year’s eve!! The reason I am asking is because my Mehndi is set for that date and now I am getting contradicting opinions!! Some people say that it’s very DANGEROUS to have any function or to even be out and about on New Years eve in Karachi and some say that no such HUNGAMAy occur!! So you guys tell me!!

I say set an alternative date if you can manage ir.
If you cant, then take the minor precautions necessary to avoid trouble.
Personally, i'd recommend you to have an alternate day and enjoy the night with friends and family out in Tariq Road or Clifton.
Don't hold the mehndi on new year's eve. All types of people are out on the streets so I personally would think that there would be an element of risk involved in holding any function that day.
Mehndi on New Year's eve in KHI isn't a good idea...There are lots of hungama's on that day and all places are crowded with different kinda people so I don't think it's safe!!
I am holding my Bachelor party in khi on new year's eve and they tell me it will be a riot. So please change your dates.

second its better not to keep any function dates on the new years. I am not in khi but the riots n curfews n stuff r so unpredictable there.
Maybe the Karachi residents should answer this question, not who visited Karachi 10 years ago. :-P

hullar baazi ho jaati hai aksar new year’s eve par…par selected spots par…notably sea view, clifton and adjoining areas…ikka dukka firing ke incident-turned-accidents bhi ho jaate hain.
i’d also advise you to change the date a tad bit if possible :k:
