I do not mind people using any language. If you stop them, then it will look even more attractive for them.

Re: A filthy generation ...
i think that is why we need to be firm ourselves to correct them, but not , as my friend said,
begin kicking those who are fallen...
we need to pick them up and enable them, to stand on their own, with dignity.

Re: A filthy generation ...
I wouldn't worry about it. These same people who have foul mouths - the ones who are driven to do well will do well. Smart people know when to open their yappers and when not to. And where. And in front of what people. The same folks you hear at a social event behaving immaturely or using a foul mouth will also be seen at their job or at school very well behaved.
But it does make for low morals and bad society.
Re: A filthy generation …
Every generation has their younger ‘filthy’ generation. For some, it was smoking cigarettes, others movies, and so on. Eventually, many of these people grow out of their youth.
Re: A filthy generation ...
But you know... I'm sure every generation since forever has always thought the new generations were going to hell in a handbasket. Where would we be if our grandmothers had done exactly as THEIR grandmothers had wanted and THEY had done exactly as THEIR grandmothers had wanted? There would never be any progress... any evolution... whatsoever. Change is necessary. Whether its good or bad isn't really something that you can judge because the opinion is biased towards how YOU lived your life and what YOU think is right. You don't have to like it, necessarily, but you need to realize that without change we would never get anywhere (and I bet your grandma thought your generation was pretty filthy herself, but you turned out alright).
As for swearing- I don't like it much either. But think of all the past "swear" words that are now completely accepted. Its an evolution of language. Soon enough there will probably be brand new swear words and the current ones will be mainstream, normal language.
