Surah 24: Verse 31 And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands....

Jihad is usually used for self-defence....
and if somone does not worry bout defending his ownself then he must be insane....
Surah 2, Verse 190 Fight in the cause of Allah those who fight you but do not transgress limits; for Allah loveth not transgressors
Surah 9, Verses 12-14 But if they violate their oaths after their covenant and taunt you for your faith fight ye the chiefs of unfaith: for their oaths are nothing to them: that thus they may be restrained.
Will ye not fight people who violated their oaths plotted to expel the apostle and took the aggressive by being the first (to assault) you? Do ye fear them? Nay it is Allah whom ye should more justly fear if ye believe!
Fight them and Allah will punish them by your hands cover them with shame help you (to victory) over them heal the breasts of believers.

Well, they have to cover their bodies in front of Na-mehrems to protect themselves from lustful eyes because it can lead to many problems like illegal relationships, rape and etc..

"Women have similar rights over men as men have over women." (2 : 228)

do men have right to excited over semi nude women and do something
wrong orgoing out of control? i see many naked tribal people despite being naked there is no case of harming women.

On Q2 I heard/read someplace that in Islam "men are 1 rank above women" cos Adam was first then Eve. I meant why not just have a equal pedal for them both. Its crazy to say men are better ect or vice versa.
a man is also allowed to hit his wife and I was on a islamic question and answer site a few days ago and they were saying a beat up wife or child would be wrong to hit back .
it seems the ideal message to put out for bullys and cowards.
and there is no reason why things cant be split down the middle Ive seen no evidence that women are any dafter than men
and the answer to women being raped is to arm them if you dont have a strong police force to protect them .and Ive never heard of a rape in a nudist camp
