Can we get a fatwah on late night meat-enriched opulent dinners thrown by desis?

If you’re going to give fatwahs, at least let them be useful.

Not eligible to give fatwah but my common understanding:

If we look at the sunnah of the Prophet:saw: …

  • He:saw: advised to eat the night meal before Isha prayer (that is the one you attend in congregation at majsid)

  • He:saw: advised not to fill up the stomach to the throat, always leave a room in there.

  • There is no evidence, whatsoever, from his:saw: life that he:saw: stayed that late and ate food…

Hence, it is a garbage ritual to have such parties.

Well if its a garbage ritual to have such parties, and its obviously not good for one's health, then why is it not eligible for religious address?

I thought you meant the issue was not eligible for a fatwah.

Good to know that you think you are in no position to give a fatwah. I would think most here will agree on that.
