A fan club for Pakistani Cricket

Salam Pakistani cricket fans.

We’ve all heard of the Barmy Army and the Bharat Army but sadly Pakistani cricket has no1 to represent it other than Chacha cricket.

About 20-30 of us are working towards making such a club a reality and we are pretty far through the process already. We’ve chosen the name ‘Cornered Tigers’ because of the history behind it.

For those who dont know the history, i’ll briefly explain it for you. During the early stages of the 1992 WC, Pakistan were almost dead and buried but Imran Khan made an emotional speech where he said that I’ve told my boys to fight like ‘Cornered Tigers’ and the rest as they say is history!

The club is headed by an ex-Pakistani Test cricketer, we already have interest from Rashid Latif, Moin Khan and Kamran Abbasi wants to do an article on us when we are more established.

If anyone is interested in helping with or joining our club then can you please post a reply to this thread and let me know!

wow.. sounds like a wonderfull idea.. but what do we have to do inorder to participate?
PS: i m in states

Walakum salam,

A good idea in theory. But I think you'll need to divulge more details if you're expecting to get a committed response, esp if modelling this on globetrotters like the barmy army.

Where are you based? How do you propose going about this? Tours to selected region(s) or all over? What's ur financial backing, if required? etc. You get the picture.

Basically, present the same plan or agenda here that you presented to the big names whose support you were able to gather.

:wsalam: wa rehmatullah

gr8 idea i’m with u brov’ but at the mo’ no 1 can beat the barmy army they way they were united in austrlia when england were being thrashed was a spectacle
