Accident & Emergency

Re: A&E department

Thanks.

So first help in terms of either Accident or Emergency via Ambulance is ofcourse great. But the real pain starts when the patient reaches emergency. If its something related to heart or life-threatening, the first-hand help is very quick and effective. But other than that, emergency treatment system is really terrible because there is always a very heavy load and staff is very less as compared to that. Unfortunately I’d been in emergency as an attendant so many times and everytime after getting first checkup done they put the patient in corridor/hallway where the wait is forever. Sometimes even more than 24 hours before we get a room and patient is shifted.
As much as it sounds harsh, this is also because of the abuse of system as we can see there are so many homeless people who come to emergency just to spend a night or two on govt.'s expense.

Re: A&E department

^same & in addition to that, in here all patients are treated with the same drugs and there are no advanced equipments or machines, and if someone is looking for heart surgery, even for angioplasty/graphy you need to get to a big city like Lhr, Rwp, Khi etc. :disgust:
