A dialogue with Madhanee

So what do you suggest? You know how many people die as a direct result of kite flying? Number of youth injured or died engaged in this ‘sport’? You call this a cultural emblem? A tradition to live? To live at the expense of what? Human life?

It’s people like you who by such explicit support breed the evil to thrive in the society. You, among many, are indirectly responsible for the tragedies of the many, miseries of the countless.

It’s nothing but a ruse on the name of tradition and culture to dismantle our electric infrastructure and disrupt flow of traffic.

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

Is this a private dialogue?

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

Do you see any obscenity? If no then yes.

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

You make obsence claims / statments so I shall assume, no.

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

Roman, why have you posted this...is it to prove that somebody spoke to you?

(even though it does look like nonsense, having said that it may be clear to a fob like you);)

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

Yes to both of you.

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

Romeo, more people die in road accidents. Are you suggesting to ban driving? What needs to happen is to provide safe environment for Shokeen people who love flying kites. If someone can take away these simple pleasures in life, what’s the guarantee that they will not take away other rights too? Like, a right to breathe and have a happy life. Kite flying is a lot older than not only Pakistan, but Islam, and no one can take it away. If they ban it in Lahore or from their skies, flyers will find some place else.

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

Ooh something makes sense now.

Roman.....I was beginning to think that it was all a big secret

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

Madhanee, driving is necessary. Kite flying is not.

Now, know this: I’m better at kite flying that you would ever dream to be. During my last visit, after years long of rustiness, and lack practice I still manage to dominate the near skies with the virtue of my lightening ‘hath’ (if you so remember what that technique is).

But this all is against the safety of others. I myself won’t hesitate for a minute to come down from my seat of paramount calibre as a savvy kite flyer just for the safety of the others. :snooty:

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

Ban all kites or just the ones with sharp wire string?

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

kite flying is the MOST boring thing I have ever done in my life!

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

Ms daisy vaisy, may be I can teach you a little the skies highs and the art of flying.

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

:hehe: what do you know about sharp wire string kites?!

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

maybe you can maybe you cant , but I wouldnt waste my time throwing a piece of plastic up in the air and watching it stay up.

its almost as bad as cricket!

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

I would love to hear your critique on golf.

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

Golf is fantastic...its somewhere you can send your husband when your sick of him and get him to chase a silly little ball around a well tended lawn.

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

I know I’ll cut you down.

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

Yes I tell my wife I am playing golf whenever I end up in Vegas. You are right.

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

Hit many hole-in-ones?

Re: A dialogue with Madhanee

You situation reminds me of the Police song:

Roxane, you don´t have to put on the red light
those days are over.
You don´t have to sell your body to the night…
…wear that dress tonight, walk these streets for money,
