A day out at the NAVAL Museum in Karachi

We had a great day at the NAVAL museum in Karachi. The kids really love that place becuase of the paddle boat and the fun with the big GUNS that have been placed there

Here the kids are seen with a BIG gun - They like to operate all the levers and wheels - good thing the gun doesnt fire anymore

No i dont think they allow anyone inside - Theres one model of the operation room of GHAZI where they have a show every evening showing the video of the sinking of the indian ship KHUKRI during 1965 war and some sound effects from that encounter. The other submarine that is parked in the lake is sealed from outside - You can take a peep inside from the window

I also visited this museum, but that was a while back, and I can see from this thread that its still in good condition. There is also some good stuff inside those buildings too...

btw, nice pictures, and what a lovely karachi family... Thanks for sharing the pictures...
