A day in my life:
Lots of quality time with my kidos. Total bonding. Listening. Playing.
(not counting diaper changes, pick & drop services, homework, projects, Quran, cooking & cleaning, etc.)
Coffee breaks on GS.
Hubby comes home then the fun begins!
After dinner, we're all either out or at home, playing with kids, GS or reading a book, watching some show.
I do take a few hours in a week to do something just for me...mostly on hubby's push and threats. But it all pays off in the end.
I get up for Fajr, and then go back to sleep for an hour or so, depending upon the time. Get back around 7:00, leave house by 7:30, park my car at work parking lot and pick up my bicycle and cycle to work (10 mins walk, 2 mins bike ride) .
Today I reached my desk at 8:03. Took my coat off, turn the desk light and computer on, said hi to my cube mate and went down to cafetaria to grab coffee, and egg cheese buscuit sandwich :D
Brought that back, had coffee and sandwich while checking work emails, chatted with cube mate and what not.
Today we had a staff meeting, my boss told me that he would announce my transition to a different and better position at work so I decided to share some treats with the group. Begum bought me some Barfi and Qalaqand for that so I took that to the meeting
Boss went crazy about almond barfi and had about 5 peices.
Meeting ran till lunch time, after lunch, I did some GS, did some real work, Zuhr, talked to Begum over the phone, more work. Left work around 5:30.
Reached home , played with kids, had dinner and now chilling out
What an ideal day for both of you. I am envious.
