salman i would like to ask you then why is it that the rapists have not been brought to justice? is all this western attention, pressure and a bad image of pakistan preferrable over bringing them to justice? the point is that this woman was BRAVE enough to speak out against the injustice while knowing that her very life was in danger. if she had not,like the millions of other rape victims you speak of…she would have been just another number. yes it is true that different organizations have played a huge role in helping her out but I feel that the biggest struggle comes from within…even the strongest organizations and powerful pen becomes useless if the person is not optimistic herself. and after meeting her, anyone can see how her optimism shines thru. and as far as anti-pak groups go…it is anyone’s guess…burden of proof lies on the accuser to prove that “ANAA” and “SAKHI” are anti-pak groups.
