A virus is accidentally released from a British research facility, locking those infected into a permanent state of killing rage. The virus is impossible to contain, and spreads across the entire planet carried by animals and humans. Within 28 days the country is overwhelmed and a small group of survivors end up trapped in London, struggling to protect themselves from the infected. As they try to salvage a future, they realize that the deadly virus is not the only thing that threatens them.
