Re: A cooking myth?

Really? na kar yaar ! never heard of it.. but then I dont understand the connection between killing the lizard and losing haath ka zaika.. unless its a case of lizard giving that unending curse to its killer !

Re: A cooking myth?

I have killed few chupkalis, and Allhumdulilah I can cook very testy food

Re: A cooking myth?

Taste is getting better day by day… higher number of lizard killing makes food tastier…

Really?

Re: A cooking myth?

The only myth here is ‘haath ka zaika’… there is no such thing… just get the right ingredients and cook methodically

Re: A cooking myth?

This kinda makes sense… coz peacocks kill snakes…and maybe other reptiles… so lizards prolly know what a badass peacocks are and scram

Re: A cooking myth?

But household chipkalis may never have an interaction with peacocks. :hmmm:

Re: A cooking myth?

 chipkali killer

Re: A cooking myth?

Rumors, my friend, rumors. They spread like wildfires and that is how myths are born. Just look at what we are doing here.

Re: A cooking myth?

Heard it a lot from my dadi as I use to do target practice on lizards with the BB gun. Haven’t got any complaints from the people who had my food by far :halo:
