a confusion....

am doing research on the
**islamic cultural reflections on the curriculum of the early childhood education in Pakistan.

**there is a confusion …
some says that **there is a difference between Islamic and Muslim culture…

**I want to know "how"?
can any body help me?

if you give references it would be more better for my research…
best regards.

Re: a confusion…

I don’t think so if Islamic Culture is different from Muslim Culture :cobra:

Re: a confusion…

To me, it is only difference of the term. Islamic is considered to be relatively stricter based on Shariah principles and Muslim a lil relaxed as people visualize someone having a long beard and saying :ast: all the times when it comes to Islamic. :smack:

Re: a confusion....

**Islam is Universal, while Muslims are all over the world with different cultures INFLUENCED by local non-Islamic traditions which crept into and become part of larger Muslim Culture. these acquired cultural traditions had nothing to do with Islamic culture.

It's so very common in India and Pakistan, where most of come from, the Hindu traditions have crept in and ingrained themselves in Muslim culture. they have nothing to do with Islam.**

Re: a confusion....

and what about firqon wala islam and quran and hadiths wala islam... there is also difference na??
