chalo I understand and agree with you, but still why cheating is not as punishable as polygamy in such countries. Are not they the same crime, in fact cheating is more of a crime than polygamy as in cheating, lying and fraud is also involved.
if they allow polygamy, they should allow polyandry too then ( woman marrying multiple men). it's only fair..

No it's not sad. wahts sad is that polygamy is legal in many countries! polygamy is a practice that degrades women. Cheating on your spouse works both ways, it's not sexist like polygamy. women cheat, men cheat. equal. polygamy = only man gets to have multiple partners. so yeah its unfair and sexist BS

^But most of the time in real-life sitiuations the taking of the second/third/forth wife also include lies and deceit, more often than not they've already been in some sort of relationship before nikah whilst the guy has been married..

If you remove religion out of it, then yes polygamy is sexist because it allows males to have more than 1 partner yet doesn't allow teh same for women.

if a man loves his wife, he would never dream of marrying another woman. cheating on the other hand is NOT something that is limited to one gender. if a man is cheating, his wife can cheat aswell. it's not one sided. polygamy is ONE sided. get it?
