Dulaaii has a lining underneath in which you’ll find stuffing [though very light] of spinned cotton or foam while do-shaalas have no filling/stuffing and is just one layer of material…more like a shawl.
also, doshaala is of the size of a shawl while Dulaaii is like a blanket/comforter.
Yes it is a Dulaee like a comforter. But it can be used for draping sofas, beds (nupital bed) and such. Being so pretty and valuable with sucha kaam it is a visual delight. I have seen it. Its lovely.
