A bewildering moment

I’ve just had a bewildering moment of my life. A moment of bewilderment can be defined as the moment when you suddenly come across something so unusual or so unexpected that you’re left utterly clueless as to what to make of the situation or how to react to it.

When was your last moment of bewilderment and what was it all about?

Somebody said something totally unexpected and I was like 'I can't believe you said that!' :-)

Neither good nor bad. It was just unbelievably odd coming from that person. :-)

perhaps, when you become aware of what you never was, or something unexpected opens your eyes and heart to something teachable, or learnable.
when people recognize and become able to reckon with their insensitivity when they feel that there was sincerity they had, which they wasted.
bewilderment causes a break in the rush of selfishness.
ideally it should cause more than a break - it should enable the person to re group for patching where that person's actions created a void.
