A beautiful voice

Haven’t heard his audio files (yet), but if you go on this website, the first audio thingy you hear - it’s beautiful Masha’Allah. i’m currently downloading the audio files on the website… doesn’t he have a soothing voice Masha’Allah. i read on a New Muslims website where someone had stated that she embraced Islam subsequent to hearing Hassen Rasool reciting the Quran; then she was convinced of the Quran’s inherent accuracy in its content. You feel the same way when you hear the Azaan being recited in a beautiful voice - it sends chills down your spine. This is what i meant about people not screaming to get their point conveyed. Why raise your voice like a donkey’s when a soft, melodious voice might get your message across in a much more effective manner?

His voice is amazing, Masha’Allah. Reminds me of Yusuf Islam and Zain Bhikha.

the donkeys cater to an audience too.. perhaps the soft walay would be too.. soft.

Ravage, Yes i agree. Sorry… :flower1: Didn’t mean to offend anyone.

:flower1: Everyone has their own tastes.

hey i dont like donkeys either. just postulating for the sake of postulating. flowers appreciated tho.

lol. No i mean, i shouldn't have used the word "donkey". That was wrong of me and i apologize.

What is a "donkey" for some, can be the most beautiful thing for others. It's all a matter of perceptions.

so true nadia. pinky, an equestrian of the lower order, once kicked hafiz abdus samad for mocking her husband as "tired old donkey". to her, he was Saleem, and nothing more.

He’s okay but I don’t agree with the beating of the drum. :nono:

Naadir, Where is the beating of the drum ?

Let's not nit-pick on every single detail. The man has devoted his life towards Islam. Leave him be. Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone.

yeh aankh kiyon mar raha hay

In one of the pictures in his gallery.

"Let he who is without sin, cast the first stone." lol Is this Christianity or Islam?

It's a saying from one of the monotheistic religions. Why is that a problem?

The ancient "pure" Christianity, uncontaminated by mortal influences, is related to Islam in many ways. Why is it a problem if i quote that?

Theres a difference of opinion regarding drums isnt there?, there are examples of people using the duff during the Prophets :saw: time and he allowed it.

How do you know which part is ‘pure’?

Anything that was needed for us from ‘pure’ Christianity would be related to us in Islamic sources. One of the Prophets :saw: main missions was to abrogate everything that had previously been revealed.

So we only take our religion from Islam, not any one of the monothestic religions.

mashaallah....
a voice that fills the heart....
can certainly put one to meditation....

As-Salaamu 'Alaykum.

The Duff is not allowed in Nasheeds.

However it is permissible for women when they are just amongst easch other for special occasions like weddings.

But it's not allowed for men to listen to it.
