Niks, it was just a show off. Decent and humble people like myself ditched that materialistic tradition long time ago (almost 14 years ago)
I am sure there is a name to it but it happened long time ago in Karachi and I am not in touch with that friend anymore. Lets hope that one of the guppies can help us out here.
