It was a very quiet affair:
Congratulations to Mehreen Jabbar for winning in best direction category, it was well-deserved.
I honestly feel that there should not be a film category in LSAs. The film industry is non-existent and with Shaan and Saima inevitably winning awards every year (b/c they the only ones appearing in films) the value of the award is at risk, it has no worth when others have won about 10 times. Reintroduce this category only when there are 3 or more films competing.
I feel Fahad should have won best actor for Veena - it was a challenging role and he excelled at it.
Meera won some bakwaas award for being beautiful or something…was that a practical joke?? If so, it wasn’t funny.

B/c that's a 2010 drama. With MZZB, Daam, Malal, Kalmoohi, Ijazat and Dastaan - next years drama category is going to see some serious competition!

Now why did our TV channels not do a 15 minute commentary on these awards just like they do for all the BW and HW awards?? Half the people did not even know this was happening and who won. Ridiculous!
Now watch them take a whole year to show these on TV.

I have seen a few clips from ishq junoon... was a terrible watch! not a pleasant surprise to see it winning the best drama.

Rukhsar Bibi, cuz allll our ppl and our channels are soooo Bolly obsessed kay unkii flop tareen movie becomes a hit in Pakistan amonst Pakistanieverywhere and our best shows are considered mediocre no matter how good they specially when you consider t/ lack of resources!

it annoys me to no end when they show Malika whoever gyrating on Geo News and the latest movie that Emraan Hashmi has released. There is a lot of good work going on by our writers and directors in the drama industry and it is not even remotely mentioned. Bugs the heck out of me!
