ofcourse its good :)
You can use it as a phone, an organizer and a weapon :o
Bash some one in the head a few times with these babies and he's a gonner :)
I have found out that the launch price would be approximately 800 Euros, but this is not official. I think the launch price would be between 700-800 Euros, but lets keep our fingers crossed.
The camera is the best. It has webcam, streaming & snapshot capabilities & is better than any other cam cell on the market.
The screen features 65K colors & the outer screen is color too.
It will work across the world & supports EGPRS & Wi Fi too.
Has all the features an executive would want.
I doubt that ... I have used Motorola A920 and think no other phones have features like it. video streaming for video calls and symbion operating system with 64MB builtIn memory and 512MB expandable. comes with buit-in GPS, so you can use location based web services. and ofcourse can install all PDA programs in it. WIth media palyer pre installed you can play divX coded movies as well. and all this comes in just about £450
What bout wi fi & USB...:D....well its ease of use. Nokia software is a lot easier then most of these PDAs. U wont believe it but more than half of these 50+ yr old executives come back & tell us we cannot figure out how to use the P900....! Nokia is ez, u dont even need a manual.
If by WI FI you mean bluetooth then ofcourse it has that as well!! and there shouldn't be any doubts about USB! as all camera phones now come with it. alternatively you can buy bluetooth USB card. Nokia is gud brand and they are also using symbion operating system I guess. Most PDAs are using microsoft which explains alot.
Wi fi means Wireless Fidelity (Networking) dude. U can connect the new communicator to any wireless network. All u need to do is configure the communicator for the access point. Voila, u have ur entire PC snychronised in the meeting room without any wires.
The 9210i supported a powerpoint presentation through its infra red, which could be connected to a special projector for on screen presentations.
The most beautiful feature was the infra red connectivity to a printer, which needed no drivers, just point, File -> Print -> Select the model & ur laser printer would print out ur log of the entire month. U can even print other documents too.
hmm sounds good, its like a micro laptop. but I would prefer 920 on it anyway, as it has more useful on the road features. I don’t need WI-FI when I am stranded in some new place! just GPS would do ![]()
Knowing exactly where you are on the map and information about nearest facilities is a sheer joy ![]()
^^ :D It supports EGPRS, which is very much capable of giving u a full blown GPS on a wide screen.
^
EGPRS is a transmission protocol, for faster and better data transfer. hence better WAP experience, it has nothing to do with Global Positioning System (GPS). EGPRS often known as 2.5G and UMTS (3G) are the latest in the market. Ofcourse for larger data transmission (like video calling in A920) 3G is the better option.
but at the end of the day its user’s choice. ![]()
** MODS shift this thread in S&T forum now.. its getting technical **![]()
^^ :D
Im still waiting for it kamran, its gonna be Xciting. The email synchro is really an awesome feature & I hope they improve the internet surfing capabilities on the new 9500...!
I know about 3G, I did post a thread on it a year back, but no1 cared to reply. I thought EGPRS would be capable of deploying GPS on Ur mobile, well lets wait & see, maybe it might support it in the future.
post some pics
once u get it operational ![]()
