A few yrs back 2 Jinnah Hospital Doctors raped a Chritian nurse (Don't remembr correctly if thr were 2 nurses or 1 )aftr asking her to come to thr office on some pretext or othr & brutally raped her. WHEN SHE complained & word got around, SHE was t/ one to get jail time, while t/ 2 jerks, t/ so called Doctors frm "shareef" families remained untouched since being a "Non Muslim" woman she had seduced thm both!
I wudn't be surprised if I heard those 2 monstrs are sumwhere in USA or t/ UK flourishing in thr careers aftr ruining sum1 else's life.
The philosophy that if it's a woman, specially a NONMUSLIM woman, it's ok to rape or molest her has got to be discouraged from our Muslim mens' menatality, cuz these crimes are not only taking place in Pakistan but Middle Eastrn countries are full of such crimes where a nurse or a maid wud be physically & sexually abused & raped aftr her passport is tkn away frm her, so much so that t/ Phillipnie Govt. @ one point refused to allow anyone to t/ ME countr on work visa. It's indeed a sad & evil thing to do.

I think that an Islamic (extremist) religious group would kill christian men if they have to but will never harm christian women. Especially they will never rape a woman. If they really did than they should be punished so that they are example for the people to come.

I am rented by these words, as written by Bilal. Although from a socio-cultural leaning, it may be right to put things into perspective, but to make them sound so simple is not befitting. Raping women by men have nothing to do, and have no relation with, whether a Man has a sister or mother at home. Most Probably their Mothers and Sisters are their “first” victims (Rape is not always physical). This binary kind of “protection of women” that we cry about is the main reason behind such dreadful incidents in our society.
The best thing we can do to liberate women in our society is to stand together with them to offer them our full and unconditional support to be viewed as equal and to treat them as such.
I had read about this incident some months ago, and it was also written up in one of the places of the HR org run by Ms. Jahangir.
The sad thing is that this happens in Pakistan on daily basis, and only a handful of cases come out to be known.

These guys did what any nutcase would do.....they saw a chance to exploit the system and took it.......the problem lies with the system mainly. This is not the first time an even of such caliber has happened.....so far noone has take a fall in these sort of hate crimes.Its just sick......death will be an easy punishment for these psychos....they deserve something worse.

I had a christan friend in school (karachi). His name was Zubair Jaweed. So its common to find christain people with muslim names.
