I need help, my 8 month old daughter has suddenly stopped drinking milk. We took her to the ped she has a minor cough that she is getting tylenol for, but she has completely stopped drinking formula as well as my milk. Please help me, what should I do. I really worried for her

If she's congested, she may not want milk.
Also, is she eating solids? Make sure to offer the milk first, and then offer her food a little later. Before 1 year, milk is the priority.

as you said she has cough she might be finding it difficult to suck the bottle give her some nazal drops so tht it becomes clear n she may be able to suck the feeder

She is taking baby food two times a day. She is refusing the food as well but not as much as the milk. I know that milk is the main source of nutrition for babies till one year thats why Iam worried , I cant think of a way to get her to drink milk
Do you think I can give her a sippy cup to drink from or is she too little for that .

We did put some saline drops up her nose. Her nose is not runny she has a little bit of cough though for which she is getting tylenol

How long has this been going on? If the milk intake is just low due to the cough/congestion, then don't worry too much. InshAllah once she's better, she'll drink like normal.
In the meantime, try mixing milk in with her other food to get a few extra drops in.

She has not been taking milk normally since a week now. I have to distract her with toys or something to get her to take her bottle and then she would may be drink 1 or 2 oz thats it. If I force her she starts crying

Do mention it to your doctor.
But I think this is pretty normal when kids are feeling sick. Try mixing milk into the food she is taking.

where do you normally feed her? My son did the same thing around this time. I found that he was just too distracted and wanted to play all the time so I had to start feeding him in a quiet room. Also I did start mixing milk in his foods. So in veggie purees would add milk instead of water, and make his cereal in milk as well.
I also reduced his solids a bit...

she's not drinking milk becoz of the throat infection try to give her llukewarm milk,
it will soothe her throat...

^It's not just the temperature. Dairy tends to cause problems with congestion, so it might be hard for her to really keep it down. Besides, it's normal for appetite to be affected when sick.

Agree with sahar... Congestion is making it hard for her to keep the milk down and as soon as she will feel better, she will ask for it. I used gerber juices in apple and pear and I would give them to my girls to keep them hydrated.
